As well as visiting families we also arrange occasional free outings and events for current Home-Start families in the school holidays. Some examples are a Christmas Party for all families and children - with a visit from Father Christmas and a beautifully wrapped present for each and every child; trips to Bocketts Farm in the summer; picnics and swimming outings.

We also arrange on-going training and support activities for our volunteers including specialist speakers and visits to family support services, as well as informal social gatherings.

London - Paris Sponsored Cycle Ride - A volunteer’s daughter, Lu Hiam, is doing a 300 mile sponsored cycle ride over 4 days, with 2 friends .
