Home-Start offers friendship and support to parents with young children, in local communities throughout the UK, so that every child can have a good start in life.
Home-Start Guildford is part of the UK's leading family support charity which has over 15,000 volunteers who visit families with at least one child under five in their own homes. Parents supporting other parents in a variety of situations including isolation, bereavement, multiple births, illness, disability or who are just finding parenting a struggle.
We have been established since 1996 in Guildford and, during that time, we have supported families from all walks of life throughout the borough. Home-Start has a powerful impact on the lives of thousands of families every day, offering support that cuts across all boundaries - of gender, social class, ethnic origin and financial status.
